Maurício Campos & Brasileiro
Renewing the image of a traditional law firm
Tradition, seriousness, and commitment are the aspects that formed the history of Maurício Campos & Brasileiro, recognized as one of the main criminal law firms in Brazil. By investing in a corporate change and, therefore, a change in name, the firm sought to consolidate a sober and contemporary posture, reinforcing its main aspects of operation.
To reflect this new moment, we created a visual identity that renews the firm's image and announces a gradual and safe transition, without breaking with recognized symbols. To this end, we brought some new resources to the brand, such as the updating of its color palette and the choice of a more contemporary serif typography. In addition to the completely reformulated composition, we also developed a contraction that presents a new iconography for the firm.
The fundamental components for the firm's image were considered and maintained, such as the solid blue, the use of uppercase letters, and the negative applications, which confer attributes of elegance, sobriety, and confidence. In this way, the project indicates that the prestige and commitment to the quality of work are characteristics that do not change. But the scope, which is the element of novelty, is brought to a new level.
