Marie Camille
A new spirit for a traditional brand
Marie Camille is a tapestry brand that stands out for its excellence in every step of the process: from welcoming customer service to the production of a wide variety of rugs. But despite representing legacy and tradition, the company sought to adopt a contemporary and current positioning, which inspired us in the creation of its new visual identity.
The project began with the redesign of Marie Camille's iconic visual signature. In this process, we maintained the brand's sophistication and elegance, refining the typographic elements and bringing freshness and modernity to the company's icon. The new signature features expanded uppercase sans-serif letters, as well as custom characters, which bring even more personality and exclusivity to the identity.
Respecting its original form, we redesigned the brand's icon, giving it movement and fluidity to enhance the dynamism of Marie Camille's new era. Based on this symbol, we developed a series of graphic elements inspired by the shapes typically woven into oriental rugs. Photography also gained enormous importance in the brand's visual system, helping to expand the imagery surrounding the world of rugs, portray the company's processes, and increase desire for the pieces.
