Cadence
Bridging digital fluidity and musical organic forms
Cadence, a leading company in electronic design, is an American multinational that operates in the field of computational software. For the signage and ambiance project of its new office in Belo Horizonte (Brazil), the company's only one in the southern hemisphere, we took as a starting point the graphic element of the red bar, present in the brand's signature. In addition, we brought as the main concept a visual translation focused on cadence, whose essence is closely related to music.
The highlight of this set is a panel in the environment's hall, composed of a design that corresponds to the sound wave emitted from the pronunciation of the word "Cadence." For the creation of the carpet layouts, protagonists of our ambiance, we sought inspiration in the concept of weaves. For each floor, in addition to the four base colors of the carpets, we chose a secondary color that complements the color palette, appearing in a more punctual way in the compositions.
The signage was designed to be objective, discreet, and direct. With this, we proposed white surfaces, rhythms, and some details in color. In addition to the visual and material resources, we brought Brazilianness to the names of the meeting rooms, which came to bear the names of typically Brazilian musical genres. The phone booths, in turn, mix names of songs by Brazilian and international artists that range from Jazz to Bossa Nova
