Torino Foundation
Humanism as the guiding thread of school education
Fundação Torino is an educational institution founded by Fiat, in Minas Gerais, over 40 years ago. Its new visual identity was inspired by the humanist values and the international character of the school, as well as its teaching based on the continuous evolution of the individual.
In addition to being the symbol of the city of Turin – the region of origin of the Fiat Group – the figure of the mounted knight is a reinterpretation of the school's first brand, which deals with the intuitive movement towards the future. The main color palette also originates from Turin, with adaptations for contemporary shades of yellow and blue, which are also applied to all the graphics that derive from the brand.
The environmental design project for the institution's corridors and classrooms started from the concept of modularity. Based on the idea of DIY (do it yourself), we chose composable perforated panels with diverse supports, allowing the flexible signage to be fixed according to the demands of each period.
The institution's new website uses the strength of the brand's repertoire to hierarchize information in the direction of interaction, with large areas of solid colors and geometric graphics. The language defined for the interface aims to be practical and approachable, considering the various audiences that access the content (parents, students, employees, and the external public), and establishes a direct connection with these diverse user profiles.
