Emannuelle Junqueira
Transposing textures and transparencies in an editorial project
With the fluidity of her creative process, Emannuelle Junqueira applies fabrics to the skin of every woman who dreams of being a bride. Attentive to the smallest details, she does delicate and artisanal work, transforming the textures and transparencies of fabrics into unique and stunning dresses. In this editorial project, her creative universe gains materiality in a new medium: a book.
For the graphic design of "Off White - Emannuelle Junqueira and the art of sewing affections," we chose some concepts that permeate the stylist's trajectory and work. The book's color palette comes from elements very present in Emannuelle's creations. These elements were transformed into three chromatic abstractions: the skin as a work surface, the creative process as something ethereal and the realization of dreams, and the care with the fabrics and the appreciation of the materials used to compose the dresses.
The typographies chosen for the editorial project offer excellent legibility for printed materials. They are also versatile and elegant, with personality in the details. From the title's typography, graphics were created that represent the fragments and details that are part of Emannuelle's journey as a stylist.
