The graphic design for “Na Medida do Impossível – Ao Vivo no Inhotim” builds on the premise of continuing the visual narrative introduced in the album Na Medida do Impossível, which portrays the journey of a housewife venturing beyond her home, into the mountains, until she becomes a superhero.
Here, in an analogy to the live show as the full embodiment of an experience that begins with the album, the heroine reaches the climax of her story. She achieves the height of her transformation by conquering a tropical environment — in contrast to the cold, snowy landscape from which she first set out.
Graphically, the new cover was conceived as a movie poster, developed from the comic book narrative of the first album. It draws on references from Japanese film posters — a nod to the singer’s Japanese heritage — known for their bold collages and playful manipulation of scale and reality. This interplay with cinematic language and Japanese design extends into the booklet, with visual allusions to subtitles and end credits typical of those productions.
