Lider — 80th Anniversary Commemorative Publication

As the final act of Lider's 80th-anniversary celebrations, Hardy developed the editorial design for a publication that connects the brand's journey to contemporary possibilities in design, art, and architecture. Our proposal was to create a timeless object capable of translating Lider's identity and projecting its next chapters.

Launched at the end of a commemorative year that began at DW! São Paulo Design Weekend in 2025, the publication brings together four sections—80 Years, Decor, Architecture, and Design—featuring content curated and written by Winnie Bastian. The structure organizes different perspectives on the brand's universe, broadening the view of its history, its products, and its relationship with design culture.

The graphic design transforms this content into an editorial experience. Original illustrations by Renata Laguardia reinterpret Lider's furniture, while folds, transparencies, exposed binding, and a flexible cover explore materiality as a core part of the narrative. Each design choice invites discovery, establishing a relationship between content, form, and tactility.

The result is a publication-object that bridges memory and contemporaneity, reaffirming Lider's presence within the Brazilian design scene. It is a project where history does not end with the celebration: it gains new layers of interpretation and remains open to the future.
