Inhotim Bird Guide
Birdwatching as a democratic experience
The Inhotim Birds Guide is a publication that catalogs and presents the diverse bird species that inhabit the Institute. To allow easy transport of the book, we opted for a more compact format, which encourages consultation of its contents during birdwatching, for example.
On the guide's cover, we employed a typographic design that lists the names of all 94 species included in the publication. The Inhotim logo was applied in white, ensuring connection and quick recognition without clashing with the overall layout. The book's color palette consists of black and yellow, shades inspired by the colors of the cores do japu (Psarocolius decumanus), the featured bird of this edition. The only exceptions are orange, used in the curiosities section, and blue, which simulates a starry sky on the inside cover.
The CERA typeface was chosen as the primary font for the editorial project. Available in six different weights, its simple, geometric, and contemporary design establishes a close dialogue with the Inhotim brand.
